Hola!
That's hi for Spanish. And for Catalan as well. Being the one of the two words I know in the preferred language of Barcelona and area of Catalonia. Which is where I am now. And like the last two times being abroad for a longer period, I am blogging once again. Like from Canada, I'll mix the English and Finnish, depending on the subject and my mood. But I promise to treat both languages equally, so all of you have something interesting to read every now and then (once a week maybe?)
Like couple of years ago in Argentina, I am here to do my exchange. It is part of my CEMS studies that I am completing together with my Master studies in Helsinki School of Economics. The exchange will last for this spring semester, from January until May and consists of few courses, a business project done for a local company, language course and a seminar on certain subject. I'll get back to the school issues as soon as I've got into them more myself.
So, here I am. In the city of Barcelona that has been around in a form or another for couple of thousands years. Originally called Barcino at the time when Christ was still among us mortals, the city has had significant importance during many periods of its existence. And now, the city has a great importance in my personal life as I am to stay here until May. From now on, I'll be blogging from the very centre of the city. For those who know the city better from the corner of Avenida Diagonal and Carrer del Bruc, just across from Casa Les Punxes. For those who do not know so well, but still a bit: Only few blocks west from Sagrada Familia, the funny looking church designed by Gaudi. I'll be writing about the happenings, feelings and thoughts related to this city, my exchange and general things going on. So, but this to your favorites or RSS feed or similar and keep your eyes for the coming action.
Adieu!
